#shopsmall
When you buy a bag from SobeSata Co, you're not just supporting my small business, but other small businesses as well!
To make my handbags even more unique, I like to get my supplies from other Etsians and artists from around the globe. While I still have to go to big name stores to get a few basic supplies here and there, if I find I can support another small business by ordering supplies from them instead, I will!
Here is just a sampling of the other businesses you support when you buy a bag from SobeSata Co - click on their names to learn more! Link will open in new window.
FABRIC
* Spoonflower (NC) - This small company started in 2008 in Durham, NC and now offers the largest collection of independent fabric designers in the world. Spoonflower designer northern_scout_vintage designed the X-ray skull print seen on the exterior of Morticia (skull messenger bag) above.
* ShuShu Style (CA) - It's no secret that Alexander Henry prints are my favorite (Frida! Dia de los Muertos! Camo Bond Girls!). If I get a craving for AH, I head over to ShuShu Style on Etsy - not only does she always have Alexander Henry in stock, but also some of the quirkiest prints around, and her customer service is stellar!
* SouthernSeamsFabric (GA), ForSewItSeams (UT), GreatFabricFinds (TX), FabricMade (China)
SUPPLIES
* Ceramic buttons - like the one seen on Marianne above - from The Button Florist (NC)
* Zippers from ZipIt Supply Co (WI)
* Hardware from UmVesquiBam (CO), Springfield Leather (MO), Relics Antiques (GA), SewingSupplies (WI), 3DANsupplies (Hong Kong)
